1- Sequels are tough. When I first saw this, I didn’t think it quite lived up to the first but on rewatch that’s flipped a bit. It’s still a flawless Reynolds performance but now he has a solid supporting cast around him, a story that has some meat on it and, surprisingly some growth for the Merc with the Mouth. Still flawed, but so much fun.
2- After his trials and tribulations in the first movie, the life of Wade Wilson (aka Deadpool) has now settled down. He’s still killing bad guys, but it’s more business-as-usual now. Moreover, he and girlfriend Vanessa are madly in love and want to start a family. Then a tragic event throws his life into disarray.
