| Plot: | Wealthy, powerful, and influential Thakur Digvijay Singh and beautiful Naina are bethrothed and are to be married soon. But Naina has fallen in love with the son, Karan, of Thakur’s employee, Balwant. When Thakur finds out about this, he instructs his men to bring in Naina alive, and Karan dead. Karan and Naina run from this community all the way to Bombay. The Thakur announces a hefty reward, and soon bounty hunters are all over Bombay looking for the hapless couple. When Balwant hears about this, he too goes to Bombay, and does locate Karan and Naina. Karan is relieved to see his dad, but his relief soon turns to disbelief, as Balwant instructs him to let go of Naina, as he himself has come as an agent of the Thakur, not as his father. |

1- The usual narrative-peddling and witch-hunt in the name of a movie. Utterly obnoxious plot and hilariously skewed storyline. The story has a nonsensical plot. Very predictable and devoid of originality. They tried to get some views by advertising their stellar cast but the attempt totally falls on its face. Nothing except the overt propaganda message sticks out. It shows us how ideologically bankrupt the left-leaning lobbies have become. There was not a single scene in the film that could redeem it. No lesson to be learnt except that we should keep our eyes open for attempts like these that are nothing but decoys to push us off the right soul-searching track. Pathetic.
2- The very core of this movie is to expose the fake news and the bias of the media in this day and age. But in the end, it only exposes the bias of the film towards it’s audience and the country. This movie projects the insecurities of the people involved in making this film unabashedly. Hiding behind the cowardice of such a film and seeming like truth seeking champions, this film’s plot and story has more holes than a volleyball net. The film tries to act above the masses to which it preaches and ends up being a huge disappointment. Before considering the audience as a dumb witted crowd and patronizing them, maybe try to give more money to the writers to create a better movie watching experience. And then Bollywood thinks why their movies don’t work.
