1- Shazam is supposed to have the wisdom of Solomon and if he had exhibited it then maybe this movie would have been better but once again the character plays the fool. He is directionless and must seek help from Mary and Eugene. Freddie was even more insufferable and annoying as he was in the original. The wizard, who has lived thousands of years now acts as if he is as young and stupid as Shazam.
2- If you saw the trailer you know what will happen, you can pretty much recite the entire movie without seeing it. This is very full of cliches, bad writing and many of the family of Shazam’s are really bad actors. But my main issue with this movie is how incredibly boring it is. Nothing feels fun, no jokes land, no fights have any stakes, the story is bland and cliche.
