Download The Equalizer 2 2018 Full Movie Hindi + English – User Reviews:

1- Denzel Washington is back as Robert McCall, the ex-CIA operative who’s trying to lead a moral life since the death of his wife. Much of the movie is taken up with his attempts to make sure that Ashton Sanders doesn’t fall into the gang life, but works on his arts and reads classic books. However, when his old pal from the Agency, Melissa Leo, is brutally murdered by some ex-CIA thugs. McCall takes off his ring and has a Sergio Leone-inspired showdown with a squad of killers.

I’m not sure what, if anything, there is in this script to make director Antoine Fuqua and Washington each make their first sequels. Perhaps they simply enjoy working with each other, and this was the project at hand; it was their fourth collaboration. For me, despite the usual graceful portrayal by Denzel Washington, I was not terribly engrossed. Probably it’s Fuqua fascination with nastiness and violence for the sake of violence.

2- Not a sequel that I think too many people were crying out for, so it is an odd find to see this character return, and to see Washington do his first ever sequel to bring him back. The plot picks from the old Edward Woodward series, so we see Washington helping people out – mostly from meeting them in his cab it seems. This allows the film to gives us quite a few solved situations to keep the film moving, while in the background setting up a more personal situation to give it more meat to work with. As a structure it works on a basic level to make a film that is episodic but yet works in a very functional manner.

The writing is probably the weakest aspect, as it does mostly do the basics, move just where you expect it to, and mostly how you expect it to. What it does do within this plot though is get to see the main character do his thing. Mostly it is being gruff, intense, focused, and very violent. The film doesn’t worry at all about the judge/jury/executioner aspect, or the morals of vigilante violence- and neither should the viewer. Instead you should enjoy the presence of Washington, who makes the most of all these intense interactions, making them look effortless and very cool. Consequences and reality all take a backseat to this, but it is hard to complain too much because it is fun to watch Washington do his thing. Supporting cast are less memorable, even if there are a few faces in here too.

In the end it is not a great film but it has a simple but effective approach, and a lead actor who may not be pushing himself too hard, but brings enough to the screen to compensate for significant weakness in the writing and plot.
